Over the past few months, I’ve been working on something meaningful: a digital recruitment platform designed specifically for the local market in Lesotho and Southern Africa. It’s called WorkForce, and it’s now live.
WorkForce isn’t just another job board. It’s a carefully crafted platform built on WordPress that connects employers with local, verified talent — quickly, efficiently, and professionally.
🌱 Why I Built It
As a developer and creative based in Lesotho, I’ve seen how difficult it can be for local job seekers to find opportunities online. I’ve also spoken to business owners who struggle to find reliable talent without spending hours sorting through spam or incomplete applications.
So I built WorkForce to bridge that gap.
⚙️ What Makes WorkForce Different
Here’s what I focused on when building the platform:
✅ Targeted Listings
Employers can post jobs tailored to their industry, and those listings are pushed directly to candidates actively searching in the same space.
✅ Easy Job Management
From posting to editing, everything is handled through a clean, responsive employer dashboard — no technical knowledge required.
✅ Application Tracking
Employers can track the full journey of each applicant — from submission to shortlist to hire.
✅ Verified Candidates
Every candidate that applies goes through a basic verification check to help reduce spam and improve quality.
✅ User-First Design
Built using modern tools like Tailwind CSS, Laravel Blade (via Sage), and ACF Pro, the platform is lightning-fast, mobile-friendly, and easy to use — whether you’re hiring or applying.
🎨 Inspired by Lesotho
One of the most important parts of this build was making sure WorkForce feels local. From the color palette (#4CAF50 green, representing growth and opportunity) to the inclusion of photography and styling influenced by Lesotho’s people, culture, and architecture — this platform is rooted in where I come from.
It’s a modern product, but it speaks our language.
🚀 Built with WordPress — But Evolved
This isn’t your average WordPress job board plugin setup. Behind the scenes, I’ve developed:
- A custom theme using Sage + Blade
- ACF-powered job and employer post types
- SVG animations with GSAP
- GitHub Actions for CI/CD deployment
- Hardened security and performance optimization
I wanted WorkForce to scale — and it can.
🔗 Ready to Try It?
If you’re a business owner in Lesotho, you can post a job in minutes.
If you’re a job seeker, this is where you’ll find real, verified opportunities.

🙌🏽 Final Thoughts
I built WorkForce not just to solve a problem — but to create opportunity. For local businesses. For young professionals. For anyone who wants to grow their career here at home.
This is just the beginning.
Thanks for reading — and if you want a platform like this for your own industry or region, let’s talk.
